Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz Cinnamon Syrup
  • 1/2 oz pimento or allspice dram liqueur
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • Garnish: star anise

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine bourbon, fresh lemon juice, Cinnamon Syrup, pimento liqueur, and egg white.
  2. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
  3. Add ice, and shake until cold.
  4. Strain into a coupe glass.
  5. Add a dash of Angostura bitters.
  6. Garnish with star anise, if desired.
