Ingredients

  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • 2 oz. blended Scotch whisky
  • 0.80 oz. cold brew coffee or cooled espresso
  • 1 tbsp. maple syrup
  • Dash of angostura bitters
  • Few ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Place a martini glass in the freezer for 10 minutes to chill.
  2. Light one end of the cinnamon stick with a gas flame. Once the flame goes out, let the stick cool.
  3. Remove the chilled glass from the freezer.
  4. In a sealed cocktail shaker or a jam jar with a lid, shake the blended Scotch whisky, cold brew coffee, maple syrup, and angostura bitters with a few ice cubes.
  5. Strain the mixture into the chilled glass.
  6. Finely grate over some of the unburnt end of the cinnamon stick and then float the stick in the glass.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
