Ingredients
- 1/2 (0.25 oz.) box black cherry gelatin
- 1/2 (0.125 oz.) envelope unflavored gelatin (Knox, Box comes with 4 packets, use one IF you want very firm shots) (optional)
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1/4 cup Creme de Cacao
- 1/8 cup coffee, cold
- 1 maraschino cherry, fresh with stem if possible
- 0.20 oz whipped cream
- 0.10 oz chocolate syrup
Instructions
- Place the measured water in a microwave-safe container and microwave until boiling. If you don't have a microwave, use a pan on the stovetop to heat the water.
- Pour the black cherry gelatin into a large container and add the hot water. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
- Measure the creme de cacao and coffee, then add them to the gelatin mixture. Stir well to combine.
- Arrange a small disposable plastic or paper cup, approximately 1 to 2 ounces in size, in a container to prevent spills.
- Pour an equal amount of the jello mixture into each cup and place the container in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours to set.
- When ready to serve, shake the can of whipped cream well and spray a small dollop of whipped cream on top of each jello shot. Drizzle each shot with about a teaspoon of chocolate syrup and top with a cherry.
