A tropical twist on the classic Whiskey Sour, the Tropical Whiskey Dream is a luscious blend of Gentleman Jack whiskey, orgeat syrup, tropical juices, and a hint of Amaro Montenegro, garnished with an edible flower and aromatic Angostura bitters.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz Gentleman Jack whiskey
- 1 oz Orgeat Syrup
- 3/4 oz Lemon juice
- 3/4 oz Pineapple juice
- 1/2 oz Passion fruit purée
- 1/4 oz Amaro Montenegro
- 1/2 oz Egg white (optional)
- Edible flower, for garnish
- Angostura bitters, for garnish
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine the Gentleman Jack whiskey, orgeat syrup, lemon juice, pineapple juice, passion fruit purée, and optional egg white.
- Shake vigorously for 8 seconds.
- Remove the ice and shake again for 8 seconds.
- Double-strain the mixture into a chilled coupe, allowing the head of the cocktail to settle for about 3 seconds.
- Using an atomizer, spray Angostura bitters over half of the cocktail.
- Garnish with an edible flower.
