Tropical Sunset Delight

A refreshing and creamy blend of unaged rum, coconut, pineapple, lime, and aged rum, garnished with a fresh Louisiana strawberry and mint sprig.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz unaged rum (preferably Don Q)
  • 1 1/2 oz coconut cream
  • 1 1/2 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 1/4 oz lime juice
  • 1 1/2 oz aged rum (preferably Brugal Extra Viejo)
  • 1 fresh Louisiana strawberry

Instructions

  1. In a blender, mix unaged rum, coconut cream, pineapple juice, and 1/2 oz of lime juice until smooth.
  2. Add 1 1/2 cups of pebble ice and blend again until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into a Hurricane glass.
  4. In the blender, combine the aged rum, 3/4 oz of lime juice, and the strawberry and blend until smooth.
  5. Add 1 1/2 cups of pebble ice and blend again until smooth.
  6. Pour the second mixture into the Hurricane glass.
  7. Garnish with a strawberry and mint sprig.
