Ingredients

  • 3.50 oz brut champagne
  • 1.50 oz 100% mango juice
  • 1.50 oz 100% pineapple juice
  • 1 tbsp pomegranate juice
  • 1 tbsp brandy
  • 1 tbsp Spiced Simple Syrup (recipe below)
  • 2 tbsp fresh cranberries
  • 1 candied orange slice
  • ### Spiced Simple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 star anise
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 tsp whole cloves
  • 1-inch piece ginger, peeled and sliced

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar, water, star anise, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and ginger for the spiced simple syrup. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Once the mixture boils and the sugar is dissolved, remove from heat.
  3. Cover and let the mixture steep for 15 minutes, then strain out the whole spices and ginger. Let the simple syrup cool completely before using.
  4. In a large pitcher filled halfway with ice, stir together champagne, mango juice, pineapple juice, pomegranate juice, brandy, spiced simple syrup, and fresh cranberries.
  5. Serve in cups with additional fresh cranberries and ice. Garnish with a slice of candied orange.
