Ingredients

  • 2 oz aged rum
  • 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
  • 3/4 oz orange curacao (Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao)
  • 1/4 oz orgeat syrup
  • 1/4 oz simple syrup

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with 1-2 pieces of ice.
  2. Shake vigorously until the ice has dissolved.
  3. Strain the liquid into a double old fashioned glass filled with crushed ice.
  4. Gently stir to settle the liquid and ice, then top with more crushed ice.
  5. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime shell.
