Ingredients

  • 2 oz aged pot still Jamaican rum (Plantation Xaymaca)
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • .75 oz orgeat (Orgeat Works Latitude 29 orgeat or Liber & Co.)
  • .5 oz orange curaçao (Pierre Ferrand dry curaçao or Clément Creole Shrubb)
  • .25 oz rich simple syrup
  • Sprig of mint and spent lime shell for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with pebble ice.
  2. Add the rum, lime juice, orgeat, orange curaçao, and rich simple syrup to the shaker.
  3. Shake the ingredients thoroughly for about ten seconds.
  4. Pour the contents of the shaker, unfiltered, into a double rocks glass.
  5. Top the drink with more pebble ice.
  6. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a spent lime shell.
