Ingredients
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon pure almond extract
- 1/8 teaspoon orange blossom water
- 3 ounces blanco tequila
- 1 1/2 ounces Aperol
- 1 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1 ounce almond simple syrup
- Crushed ice
- Tajin, for garnish
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, simmer sugar and water until sugar has dissolved to create the almond simple syrup. Remove from heat, then stir in almond extract and orange blossom water. Let the syrup cool.
- Fill two rocks glasses or stemless tulip glasses with crushed ice.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, Aperol, lime juice, and the almond simple syrup. Add ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously until thoroughly chilled.
