Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. mezcal
  • 1/2 oz. Strega (or yellow chartreuse)
  • 1/2 oz. fino sherry
  • 1/2 oz. chipotle honey
  • 3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 6 sage leaves
  • 1 dash orange bitters
  • 4 drops 20% saline solution

Instructions

  1. Slap and tear up the sage leaves, then place in a shaker tin.
  2. Add the lemon juice and chipotle honey, then muddle.
  3. Add the mezcal, Strega, fino sherry, orange bitters, and saline solution to the shaker tin.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously.
  5. Strain the mixture into a glass.
  6. Garnish as desired.
