Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. mezcal
  • 1/2 oz. Strega (or yellow chartreuse)
  • 1/2 oz. fino sherry
  • 1/2 oz. chipotle honey
  • 3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 6 sage leaves
  • 1 dash orange bitters
  • 4 drops 20% saline solution

Instructions

  1. Slap and tear up the sage leaves, then place them in a shaker tin.
  2. Muddle the sage leaves with the lemon juice and chipotle honey.
  3. Add the mezcal, Strega (or yellow chartreuse), fino sherry, orange bitters, and 20% saline solution.
  4. Fill the shaker tin with ice and shake vigorously.
  5. Strain the mixture into a glass.
  6. Garnish and enjoy!
