Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Gin
  • 1 oz. Freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 0.50 oz. Homemade or store-bought grenadine
  • 1 dash Absinthe
  • Ice
  • Orange slice or rind for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill your martini glass in the freezer for a few minutes.
  2. Swirl a few drops of absinthe in the glass and then pour it out, or add absinthe to a shaker filled with ice, swirl, and strain it out.
  3. In the same shaker, combine gin, orange juice, and grenadine.
  4. Shake well and strain into the chilled martini glass.
  5. Garnish with an orange slice or twist.
