Ingredients

  • 2 oz Japanese whisky
  • Soda water, to top

Instructions

  1. Place a large ice cube in a highball glass.
  2. Stir the ice until the glass frosts, then pour off the excess water.
  3. Add another ice cube to the glass, pour in the whisky, and stir 13 1/2 times clockwise.
  4. Add a third ice cube to fill the glass completely.
  5. Pour in the soda water without disturbing the ice.
  6. Stir the drink three times, then gently lift the ice to mix the two drinks without creating bubbles.
