Ingredients

  • 2 medium tangerines or oranges, juiced and chilled
  • 2 1/2 ounces chilled sparkling wine (such as Champagne or Cava)
  • Garnish options: pomegranate seeds, blackberries, or raspberries

Instructions

  1. Juice and chill the tangerines or oranges. If desired, strain the juice through a fine-mesh strainer into a glass or measuring cup with a spout. Place the juice and a champagne flute in the refrigerator.
  2. Open the sparkling wine by carefully twisting the bottle and slowly pulling the cork away at a 45-degree angle to release the pressure.
  3. Pour 2 1/2 ounces of the chilled juice into the champagne glass.
  4. Fill the rest of the glass with the chilled sparkling wine.
  5. Garnish the mimosa with pomegranate seeds, blackberries, or raspberries if desired.
