- 0.50 fl oz espresso, chilled
- 4 fl oz champagne
- 0.50 fl oz plum brandy
- 1 sugar cube
- Purple sanding sugar

- Wet the edges of a champagne flute with water, then rim it with purple sanding sugar. Set aside.
- In a separate glass or pitcher-style measuring cup, combine the plum brandy and chilled espresso, and stir well.
- Place a sugar cube at the bottom of the prepared champagne flute.
- Pour the brandy and espresso mixture over the sugar cube, dividing it evenly into the flute.
