Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp black gel frosting
  • 2 oz lemon flavored vodka (substitute lemonade for mocktail)
  • 1/4 oz triple sec (leave out for mocktail)
  • 2 oz blood orange juice or soda
  • Edible glue
  • Black sewing thread
  • Plastic spider

Instructions

  1. Use the black gel frosting to draw a spider web on the inside of a martini glass and freeze for 30 minutes.
  2. Fill a martini shaker with ice, then add the vodka, triple sec, and blood orange juice. Shake for 10 seconds, then strain into the prepared martini glass.
  3. Prior to adding the liquid, create a hanging spider by using edible glue to attach black sewing thread to the plastic spider, then glue the other end to the edge of the glass, close to the web.
