Ingredients
- 1 cup Reposado Tequila
- 1 jalapeño, sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups raspberries, fresh or frozen
- Lime wedges
- Tajin seasoning or kosher salt
- 2 ounces jalapeño-infused tequila
- 2 ounces lime juice (about 2 limes, squeezed)
- 2 ounces Raspberry Syrup
Instructions
- Infuse the tequila by adding sliced jalapeños to the tequila and letting it sit at room temperature for at least 3 hours.
- Dissolve the sugar by combining it with water in a medium saucepan, stirring to dissolve, then adding raspberries and simmering over medium heat until raspberries are falling apart, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cool slightly, strain, and chill completely.
- Rim a cocktail glass with a lime wedge and dip in Tajín, then fill with ice.
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine tequila, lime juice, and raspberry syrup. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass and serve with an additional lime wedge if desired. ¡Salúd!
