  • 1 jalapeño, sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups raspberries, fresh or frozen
  • Lime wedges
  • Tajin seasoning or kosher salt
  • 2 ounces jalapeño-infused tequila
  • 2 ounces lime juice (about 2 limes, squeezed)
  • 2 ounces Raspberry Syrup

Instructions

  1. Infuse the tequila by adding sliced jalapeños to the tequila and letting it sit at room temperature for at least 3 hours.
  2. Dissolve the sugar by combining it with water in a medium saucepan, stirring to dissolve, then adding raspberries and simmering over medium heat until raspberries are falling apart, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cool slightly, strain, and chill completely.
  3. Rim a cocktail glass with a lime wedge and dip in Tajín, then fill with ice.
  4. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine tequila, lime juice, and raspberry syrup. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  5. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass and serve with an additional lime wedge if desired. ¡Salúd!
