Ingredients

  • 2 oz Basil Hayden's Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
  • 1 oz Sweet Vermouth
  • 1 oz Black Tea
  • 2 oz fresh Apple Juice or Apple Cider
  • 1.30 oz fresh Lemon Juice
  • 0.60 oz Demerara Simple Syrup
  • 1/8 oz Angostura Bitters
  • 4 oz Club Soda
  • 1 Ice Block
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 3 Apple Slices
  • freshly grated Cinnamon and Nutmeg, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ice block by filling a 4-ounce square plastic container with water, two apple slices, and one cinnamon stick, then place in the freezer.
  2. In a punch bowl, mix together the bourbon, sweet vermouth, black tea, apple juice, lemon juice, Demerara syrup, and Angostura bitters.
  3. Top the mixture with club soda.
  4. Carefully place the pre-made ice block into the punch bowl.
  5. Garnish with the remaining apple slices and freshly-grated cinnamon and nutmeg.
  6. Serve and enjoy! Serves 1.
