Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brut champagne
  • 1/3 cup mango juice
  • 1/3 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 tbsp pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 tbsp brandy
  • 1/2 tbsp spiced simple syrup
  • 2 tbsp fresh cranberries
  • Garnish: candied orange slice, additional fresh cranberries

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine water, sugar, star anise, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and ginger.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, ensuring the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat, cover, and let the mixture steep for 15 minutes.
  4. Strain out the whole spices and ginger, allowing the simple syrup to cool completely.
  5. In a large pitcher filled halfway with ice, mix together champagne, mango juice, pineapple juice, pomegranate juice, brandy, spiced simple syrup, and fresh cranberries.
  6. Serve in cups filled with additional fresh cranberries and ice, and garnish with candied orange slices.
