Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon hot water
  • 1/4 cup packed mint leaves, plus small sprigs for garnish
  • 3 tablespoons packed basil leaves, plus small sprigs for garnish
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced English cucumber, plus 2 spears for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon yuzu juice
  • 1/4 cup chilled vodka
  • 1/2 cup chilled sparkling water
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, stir the sugar into the hot water until fully dissolved.
  2. In a pitcher, gently mash the mint and basil leaves with the sliced cucumber and the sugar syrup.
