Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Cognac, preferably Pierre Ferrand 1840
  • 3/4 oz. Cynar
  • 1/2 oz. yellow Chartreuse
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • 1 dash Regans' Orange Bitters No. 6

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice.
  2. Stir the mixture until chilled.
  3. Strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass.
  4. Express the lemon peel over the drink and then discard it.
