Smoky Pineapple Mezcalita
The Smoky Pineapple Mezcalita is a delightful blend of mezcal, grilled pineapple, jalapeño, and lime, offering a smoky, sweet, and spicy flavor with a herbal twist from cilantro.
Ingredients
- 2 pineapple slices (1" thick)
- 2 slices of jalapeño
- 6-8 fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 1/2 oz mezcal
- 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz agave syrup
- Ice
Instructions
- Heat a nonstick grill pan over high heat or preheat an outdoor grill to high. Grill the pineapple slices until charred on both sides, about 4 minutes. Let them cool.
- In a mixing glass, muddle the grilled pineapple, jalapeño slices, and cilantro leaves until crushed and combined.
- Add mezcal, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup to the mixing glass.
- Fill the glass with ice and stir well.
- Strain the mixture into a serving glass filled with ice.
