Ingredients

  • Kosher salt or coarsely ground sea salt
  • 2 oz silver tequila
  • 1 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz fresh orange juice
  • 1 tsp light agave nectar
  • 1 lime wedge, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Spread a layer of salt on a small plate.
  2. Moisten the rim of the glass with a lime slice and dip it into the salt.
  3. Add ice cubes to the glass and set it aside.
  4. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and pour in the tequila, freshly squeezed lime and orange juice, and agave nectar.
  5. Shake the ingredients for 30 seconds.
  6. Strain the liquid into the prepared glass.
  7. Garnish with a slice of lime.
