Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin or vodka
  • 1/2 oz olive oil
  • Peels from 1 orange
  • Peels from 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 oz citrus-and-olive oil washed spirit
  • 1/4 oz Mata Bianco vermouth
  • 1/4 oz Dolin Dry vermouth
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • Garnish: lemon peel and olive

Instructions

  1. Combine gin or vodka, olive oil, orange peels, lemon peels, citrus-and-olive oil washed spirit, Mata Bianco vermouth, Dolin Dry vermouth, and orange bitters in a quart container.
  2. Stir or shake well to incorporate the olive oil into the spirit.
  3. Allow the mixture to infuse overnight in the refrigerator or freezer.
  4. Once the olive oil solidifies, strain the infused liquor off the fat cap and citrus peels into a new container.
  5. In a shaker tin, combine the infused liquor with ice and stir well.
  6. Strain the mixture into a coupe glass.
  7. Garnish with a lemon peel and an olive.
