Ingredients
- 2 oz gin or vodka
- 1/2 oz olive oil
- Peels from 1 orange
- Peels from 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 oz citrus-and-olive oil washed spirit
- 1/4 oz Mata Bianco vermouth
- 1/4 oz Dolin Dry vermouth
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- Garnish: lemon peel and olive
Instructions
- Combine gin or vodka, olive oil, orange peels, lemon peels, citrus-and-olive oil washed spirit, Mata Bianco vermouth, Dolin Dry vermouth, and orange bitters in a quart container.
- Stir or shake well to incorporate the olive oil into the spirit.
- Allow the mixture to infuse overnight in the refrigerator or freezer.
- Once the olive oil solidifies, strain the infused liquor off the fat cap and citrus peels into a new container.
- In a shaker tin, combine the infused liquor with ice and stir well.
