Ingredients

  • 2 ounces sage-infused tequila
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce triple sec or Cointreau
  • 1/2 ounce Agave in the Raw
  • 1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt or cocktail salt
  • 1 sprig sage, for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Infuse the tequila by combining sage leaves and tequila in an air-tight container for at least 24 hours, up to 3 days.
  2. For a salt rim, rub a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass, then dip the glass rim in salt and coat it well.
  3. Fill the rimmed glass with ice.
  4. In an ice-filled cocktail shaker, combine the infused tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and agave nectar. Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
  5. Double strain the mixture into the ice-filled glass.
