Ingredients

  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • 1/2 oz Coffee liqueur
  • 2 dashes Orange bitters
  • 1 piece orange peel (about 1 inch in diameter)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing glass, combine the bourbon, coffee liqueur, and orange bitters.
  2. Add ice and stir until chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into a pre-chilled cocktail glass.
  4. To flame the orange peel, hold it colored side down about two inches above a lit match. Twist and squeeze the peel sharply over the flame to ignite the oils as they spray toward the drink.
