Ingredients

  • 1 organic whole pineapple
  • 2 cups mineral water
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cloves

Instructions

  1. Peel the pineapple and cut it into pieces.
  2. Place the pineapple peel, sugar, cinnamon, and cloves in a large jar.
  3. Add 2 cups of mineral water, then seal the jar tightly.
  4. Shake the jar gently to mix the ingredients, and leave it at room temperature.
  5. Shake the jar 3 times a day for 4 to 5 days, allowing the fermentation to progress.
  6. Once the drink is ready to be filtered, a good layer of foam will form on top.
  7. Filter the beverage into a sealable bottle and let it sit at room temperature for 12 hours to achieve a sparkling effect.
