Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz Orange juice (freshly squeezed from about half an orange)
  • 1 1/2 oz Vodka (Your favorite brand, such as Tito's)
  • 1 Orange Soda (For topping off, such as Sunkist, Fanta, or San Pellegrino Aranciata. I used Sparkling Ice Orange Mango)
  • Orange Sugar (For rimming the glass)
  • Fresh Orange Slices + Fresh Mint leaves (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Moisten the rim of a tall glass with a slice of fresh orange and coat it with orange sanding sugar.
  2. Fill the glass 3/4 full with ice cubes.
  3. Pour in the freshly squeezed orange juice and vodka.
  4. Top off the drink with the orange soda.
  5. Gently stir everything together using a long spoon or bar spoon until combined.
  6. Garnish with a fresh orange slice and, if desired, some mint. Serve chilled.
