Merry Berry Mulled Sangria
A delightful twist on classic sangria with red wine, mulling spices, and fresh fruit, perfect for entertaining.
Ingredients
- 4 oz. red wine, chilled
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 sachet Mulling Spice Blend
- 1 oz. fresh orange juice
- 2 oz. frozen unsweetened strawberries
- 1/4 orange, thinly sliced and cut in half
- 3 oz. club soda
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of the wine, sugar, and the sachet of mulling spices. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool, then discard the sachet.
- Pour the cooled mixture into a pitcher and add the remaining wine. Chill thoroughly.
- Add the orange juice, frozen strawberries, orange slices, and club soda to the chilled wine mixture.
