Ingredients

  • 4 oz. red wine, chilled
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 sachet Mulling Spice Blend
  • 1 oz. fresh orange juice
  • 2 oz. frozen unsweetened strawberries
  • 1/4 orange, thinly sliced and cut in half
  • 3 oz. club soda

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of the wine, sugar, and the sachet of mulling spices. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool, then discard the sachet.
  2. Pour the cooled mixture into a pitcher and add the remaining wine. Chill thoroughly.
  3. Add the orange juice, frozen strawberries, orange slices, and club soda to the chilled wine mixture.
