Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar (optional)
  • 0.75 oz unflavored gelatin mix
  • 1/4 oz Midori
  • 1/4 oz sweet and sour mix
  • gummies (for decoration, optional)
  • sprinkles (for decoration, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring water and sugar to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling and the sugar is dissolved, remove from heat.
  2. In a large bowl, pour the boiled sugar-water and add the unflavored gelatin. Whisk quickly until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
  3. Add chilled Midori and sweet and sour mix to the gelatin mixture and whisk quickly until well combined. Optionally, add a few drops of green food coloring for a more vibrant color.
  4. Use a funnel or injector to pour the gelatin mixture into shot cups. Smooth or spoon out any bubbles that form on the top. Fill the cups almost to the top, leaving a small gap.
  5. Place the finished jello shots in the refrigerator and let them set for at least 1-2 hours.
  6. Garnish the tops of the midori sour jello shots with gummies or sprinkles (both optional).
  7. Serve as desired.
