Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tsp ceremonial grade matcha powder
- 2 tbsp hot water
- 1 oz non-alcoholic "gin"
- Juice of 1/2 lemon or lime
- 1-2 tsp simple syrup or maple syrup
- Fresh mint for garnish
- Ice
Instructions
- Sift the matcha into a small bowl, add hot water, and whisk until smooth and frothy.
- In a shaker, combine the prepared matcha with "gin," lemon or lime juice, and simple syrup or maple syrup. Shake well to blend the ingredients.
- Add ice to the shaker, and shake vigorously to chill the mixture.
- Strain the mixture and gently pour it into a glass.
- Garnish with a mint leaf if desired and serve.
