Ingredients

  • 1 lime, scrubbed and washed
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1.17 oz sweetened condensed milk (or sweetened condensed coconut milk for a dairy-free version)
  • 2/3 cup cold water
  • 2/3 cup ice, plus more for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut off and discard the ends of the lime, then quarter the lime.
  2. In a blender, pulse the lime, sugar, sweetened condensed milk, water, and ice 5 to 8 times until just combined, ensuring not to overblend to avoid bitterness.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher, using a spoon to push out as much liquid as possible; discard the solids.
  4. Pour into a tall, ice-filled glass, garnish with a lime wedge, and serve immediately.
