- 1/2 tablespoon dried or fresh lavender flowers
- 1/8 cup fresh or frozen blackberries
- 1/16 cup maple syrup
- 1/32 cup vodka
- 1/2 (6 oz) bottle of champagne
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the blackberries, maple syrup, and vodka. Gently mash the berries as they cook until they break down (about 5 minutes).
- Add the lavender flowers (remove from stem if fresh) and continue to boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat.
- Optional: for better flavor, allow the mixture to steep for at least 1 hour and up to 2 days in the fridge.
- To serve, pour 1 tablespoon of the blackberry sauce into a champagne flute, add a stem of fresh lavender, and top with chilled champagne.
