Ingredients
- 1/2 tablespoon dried or fresh lavender flowers
- 1/4 cup fresh or frozen blackberries
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon vodka
- 4 oz champagne
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, boil blackberries, maple syrup, and vodka, gently mashing the berries as they cook until broken down (about 5 minutes).
- Add lavender flowers and boil for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
- Optionally, allow the sauce to steep in the fridge for at least 1 hour and up to 2 days.
- To serve, pour 1 tablespoon of the blackberry sauce into a champagne flute, add a stem of fresh lavender, and top with chilled champagne.
