Ingredients

  • 2 oz lime juice (about 2 limes)
  • Sugar (to rim glasses)
  • 2 tsp black chia seeds
  • 2 oz water
  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz Triple Sec or Cointreau
  • Dash of maple syrup
  • 4 oz Kombucha (choice of flavor)
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 lime slice (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rim the glasses with lime juice and cane sugar.
  2. Mix water and chia seeds in a small bowl and set aside for 20 minutes to form chia gel.
  3. In a shaker or mason jar, combine the alcohols, lime juice, maple syrup, ice cubes, and chia gel. Shake well.
  4. Add kombucha and stir, then pour into the frosted glasses.
