Ingredients
- 1 large egg, separated
- 0.10 cup dark rum
- 0.10 cup Bourbon or rye whiskey
- 0.10 cup VS or VSOP Cognac
- 0.10 cup heavy cream
- 0.07 cup dark maple syrup
- 0.30 whole nutmeg seed
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, beat the egg white until stiff peaks form and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the egg yolk, rum, whiskey, cognac, cream, and maple syrup until fully combined.
- Grate the nutmeg into the yolk mixture and mix well.
- Gently fold in the beaten egg whites in 3 batches, mixing well after each addition until the mixture is homogenous.
