Ingredients

  • 1 large egg, separated
  • 0.10 cup dark rum
  • 0.10 cup Bourbon or rye whiskey
  • 0.10 cup VS or VSOP Cognac
  • 0.10 cup heavy cream
  • 0.07 cup dark maple syrup
  • 0.30 whole nutmeg seed

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the egg white until stiff peaks form and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg yolk, rum, whiskey, cognac, cream, and maple syrup until fully combined.
  3. Grate the nutmeg into the yolk mixture and mix well.
  4. Gently fold in the beaten egg whites in 3 batches, mixing well after each addition until the mixture is homogenous.
