Ingredients

  • 3/8 cup white grape juice, chilled
  • 1/16 cup orange liqueur, such as Cointreau
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon superfine or granulated sugar
  • 3/4 tablespoon honey
  • 1/8 medium nectarine, pitted and chopped
  • 1/4 navel orange, quartered and thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons fresh or frozen sweet cherries, pitted and halved, or canned mandarin orange sections, drained
  • 3 tablespoons fresh golden or red raspberries
  • 1/8 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/8 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 6 1/4 oz. bottle sparkling white wine, chilled
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher or glass jar, mix together grape juice, orange liqueur, sugar, and honey until the sugar and honey dissolve.
  2. Add nectarine, orange, cherries, raspberries, basil, and mint to the mixture, and stir well.
  3. Chill the mixture for 1 hour or up to 24 hours, stirring occasionally.
  4. Just before serving, pour sparkling wine into the fruit mixture.
  5. Serve in a glass over ice.
