Ingredients
- 2 oz bourbon
- 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 oz honey syrup
- 1 large ice cube
Instructions
- Prepare the honey syrup by combining honey and warm water in a sealed container and shaking until well combined. (Honey syrup makes 1/2 cup and can be stored at room temperature for up to 1 week.)
- Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
- Add the bourbon, fresh lemon juice, and 3/4 ounce of the prepared honey syrup to the shaker.
- Shake the mixture until chilled, approximately 15 seconds.
- Strain the cocktail into a rocks glass filled with one large ice cube.
