Ingredients

  • 1/4 large peach, chopped (or 1/2 of a small peach)
  • 2 small basil leaves
  • 1/2 ounce orgeat (almond syrup)
  • Pinch of flaky salt
  • 1 1/2 ounces añejo rum
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 ounce ginger liqueur (such as Domaine de Canton)
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the chopped peach, basil leaves, orgeat, and a pinch of salt until the peach is crushed and jammy.
  2. Add the añejo rum, fresh lemon juice, and ginger liqueur to the shaker.
