Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.40 oz strawberry Jell-O powder (or about 2 tbsp)
  • 6.40 oz pineapple juice (from a can)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2/3 cup pulp-free orange juice
  • 20 oz lemon-lime soda (chilled)

Instructions

  1. In a large stainless steel pot, combine sugar, water, and Jell-O. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in pineapple juice, lemon juice, and orange juice.
  3. Divide the mixture into a large freezer bag, seal, and lay flat in the freezer overnight.
  4. When ready to serve, transfer the frozen juice to the refrigerator for 2 to 5 hours.
  5. In a large punch bowl, combine half of the frozen juice with 1 bottle of chilled soda.
  6. Use a fork to flake the ice into a slushy consistency, if needed.
  7. Repeat the same process with the remaining juice and soda as needed.
