Ingredients

  • 5 oz rosé wine
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp water
  • 2 large strawberries, hulled and quartered
  • 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup ice

Instructions

  1. Pour the rosé into a large, lipped sheet pan and freeze for at least 6 hours.
  2. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil, then add sugar and stir until dissolved to make the simple syrup.
  3. Add the strawberries to the simple syrup, stir, and let it sit for 30 minutes to infuse the flavors.
  4. Strain the strawberry syrup through a sieve without mashing the strawberries. Chill the syrup for 30 minutes.
  5. In a blender, combine 3 ounces of the strawberry syrup, lemon juice, ice, and the frozen rosé. Blend until smooth and serve.
