Ingredients
- 5 oz rosé wine
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp water
- 2 large strawberries, hulled and quartered
- 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup ice
Instructions
- Pour the rosé into a large, lipped sheet pan and freeze for at least 6 hours.
- In a saucepan, bring water to a boil, then add sugar and stir until dissolved to make the simple syrup.
- Add the strawberries to the simple syrup, stir, and let it sit for 30 minutes to infuse the flavors.
- Strain the strawberry syrup through a sieve without mashing the strawberries. Chill the syrup for 30 minutes.
- In a blender, combine 3 ounces of the strawberry syrup, lemon juice, ice, and the frozen rosé. Blend until smooth and serve.
