Ingredients
- 1/2 cup frozen cranberries
- 1/8 cup frozen haskap berries or blueberries
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 3/8 cup plain or lemon sparkling water
- 3/8 cup sparkling apple must
- 3 fresh sage leaves
- 3 fresh rosemary branches
- 1 oz gin (optional)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a small pot, bring the cranberries, haskap berries, sugar, and water to a boil over high heat.
- Simmer the mixture until the fruits burst, approximately 15 minutes, then crush them with a potato masher.
- Strain the fruit syrup through a sieve and refrigerate until completely chilled.
- In a large pitcher, combine the chilled fruit syrup with the sparkling water and apple must.
- Crumple 3 sage leaves and add to the pitcher, removing them after 5 minutes.
- Pour the punch into glasses filled with ice cubes, and garnish with sage leaves, rosemary branches, and the remaining cranberries.
- For an alcoholic version, add 1 oz of gin per glass.
