Ingredients

  • 3 oz coffee
  • 2 oz Kahlua
  • 1/2 oz Triple Sec
  • 1/2 oz rum
  • Granulated sugar, for dipping the glass
  • Lemon wedge
  • 1 large spoonful sweetened whipped cream
  • Grated chocolate or nutmeg for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brew the coffee and let it cool slightly.
  2. Prepare sweetened whipped cream, whipping it to soft peaks.
  3. Use a lemon wedge to moisten a 1/2-inch of the glass rim and coat it with granulated sugar.
  4. Caramelize the sugar by using a kitchen torch until it turns brown.
  5. Add the coffee, Kahlua, Triple Sec, and rum to the glass and stir gently.
  6. Carefully float the whipped cream on top using the back of a spoon.
