Ingredients

  • 4 oz cantaloupe puree
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 1 oz tequila
  • 1 oz citron vodka
  • Club soda
  • Ice
  • Rim Salt
  • Mint Sprig

Instructions

  1. Peel and remove seeds from the cantaloupe, then cut it into chunks.
  2. Blend the cantaloupe chunks until they form a smooth puree.
  3. Strain the cantaloupe puree to remove any pulp, or juice the cantaloupe if you have a juicer.
  4. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the cantaloupe puree, lime juice, simple syrup, tequila, and citron vodka. Shake well.
  5. Rim a glass with salt by running a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it in salt.
  6. Fill the salt-rimmed glass with ice and strain the cantaloupe mixture over it.
  7. Top it off with club soda and garnish with a mint sprig.
