Ingredients
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 oranges, divided
- 3 oz dry red wine
- 1 oz brandy
- 1 oz Triple Sec
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1/4 apple, cored and diced
- Ice, for serving
Instructions
- In a small pot, combine the sugar and 1/4 cup water. Heat until the sugar dissolves, then cool completely.
- Add the cooled sugar water to a large pitcher.
- Slice 1 orange and add it to the pitcher. Squeeze the juice from the remaining orange into the pitcher.
- To the pitcher, add the red wine, brandy, Triple Sec, cinnamon sticks, and diced apple.
- Chill the sangria until cold or serve over ice.
