Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 oranges, divided
  • 3 oz dry red wine
  • 1 oz brandy
  • 1 oz Triple Sec
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/4 apple, cored and diced
  • Ice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, combine the sugar and 1/4 cup water. Heat until the sugar dissolves, then cool completely.
  2. Add the cooled sugar water to a large pitcher.
  3. Slice 1 orange and add it to the pitcher. Squeeze the juice from the remaining orange into the pitcher.
  4. To the pitcher, add the red wine, brandy, Triple Sec, cinnamon sticks, and diced apple.
  5. Chill the sangria until cold or serve over ice.
