Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup raw cashews
  • 1 3/4 cups oat milk
  • 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2-1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of vanilla powder
  • Pinch of ground cloves
  • 2 tbsp non-alcoholic rum (optional)

Instructions

  1. Soak the cashews in boiling water for 20 minutes.
  2. In a high-speed blender, combine soaked cashews, oat milk, maple syrup, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla powder, and cloves.
  3. Blend on high for about 5 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  4. Strain the mixture using a fine mesh or nut-milk bag to remove any nut pulp.
  5. Stir in the non-alcoholic rum, if using.
  6. Serve hot or cold, optionally garnished with a sprinkle of cinnamon, or refrigerate for up to a week.
