Cranberry Campari Sparkler
A delightful and festive Thanksgiving cocktail with a perfect balance of bittersweet Campari and unsweetened cranberry juice, creating a refreshing and palate-awakening experience.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened 100% cranberry juice
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 rosemary sprigs
- 2 1/2 oz. dry sparkling wine
- 1 1/2 oz. Campari
- 1 oz. Cran-Rosemary Juice
- Garnish: Rosemary sprig, torched if desired
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine unsweetened cranberry juice, water, and sugar. Simmer over medium-high heat, stirring to dissolve sugar, then remove from heat. Add rosemary sprigs and let steep for 4 minutes. Strain the mixture into a measuring cup or resealable jar and let it cool to room temperature.
- In a Collins glass, pour the sparkling wine, followed by Campari and Cran-Rosemary Juice. Add ice and gently stir the cocktail.
- For garnish, torch the rosemary sprig by holding it next to the burner of a gas stove or near a match for a few seconds, then place it on the cocktail.
