Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened 100% cranberry juice
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 rosemary sprigs
- 2 1/2 oz. dry sparkling wine
- 1 1/2 oz. Campari
- 1 oz. Cran-Rosemary Juice
- Garnish: Rosemary sprig, torched if desired
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine unsweetened cranberry juice, water, and sugar. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, stirring to dissolve sugar, then immediately remove from heat.
- Add 2 rosemary sprigs and let steep for 4 minutes. Strain into a measuring cup or jar. Let it cool to room temperature and use immediately or refrigerate.
- Add sparkling wine to a Collins glass, then carefully add Campari and Cran-Rosemary Juice. Fill the glass with ice.
- If desired, torch the rosemary sprig by holding it next to the burner of a gas stove or near a match for a few seconds to warm it slightly.
- Give the cocktail a gentle stir and garnish with rosemary.
