Ingredients

  • 1/2 orange, juiced
  • 2-3 orange slices
  • 1 lemon slice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 rosemary sprig
  • 1/2 oz Licor 43
  • Honey, to taste
  • 5 black peppercorns
  • 3 cloves
  • 5 oz red wine
  • Seasonal fruit slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Juice enough of the oranges to yield 1/2 oz juice, then slice the remaining oranges and lemon into rounds.
  2. Layer the citrus slices, cinnamon stick, and rosemary sprig in a glass pitcher.
  3. Sweeten with orange juice, Licor 43, and honey to taste.
  4. Add the peppercorns and cloves to a tea bag or cheesecloth, then place it into the pitcher.
  5. Pour in the red wine, stir gently to combine, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to 2 days.
  6. Serve the sangria in a glass filled with ice and garnish with additional fruit slices and a rosemary sprig.
