Ingredients
- 1/2 orange, juiced
- 2-3 orange slices
- 1 lemon slice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 rosemary sprig
- 1/2 oz Licor 43
- Honey, to taste
- 5 black peppercorns
- 3 cloves
- 5 oz red wine
- Seasonal fruit slices for garnish
Instructions
- Juice enough of the oranges to yield 1/2 oz juice, then slice the remaining oranges and lemon into rounds.
- Layer the citrus slices, cinnamon stick, and rosemary sprig in a glass pitcher.
- Sweeten with orange juice, Licor 43, and honey to taste.
- Add the peppercorns and cloves to a tea bag or cheesecloth, then place it into the pitcher.
- Pour in the red wine, stir gently to combine, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to 2 days.
- Serve the sangria in a glass filled with ice and garnish with additional fruit slices and a rosemary sprig.
