Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon raisins
  • 1/4 cup gold rum
  • 1/2 cup coconut cream
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In a small dish, soak the raisins in just enough rum to cover for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Combine the coconut cream, coconut milk, evaporated milk, condensed milk, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, and the soaked raisins with any remaining rum in a blender.
  3. Blend until the mixture is smooth and the raisins are fully incorporated.
  4. Pour the mixture into a pitcher or large glass container and chill for at least 1 hour.
  5. Serve the coquito cold and enjoy it as is, or add more rum to your liking.
